Hi, I'm Dillon Young.

I've been tinkering with computers, audio gear, and home systems since grade school. What started as a personal passion eventually became something I couldn't stop sharing with the people around me. There's a real satisfaction in watching someone go from frustrated to comfortable with the technology in their own home.

Over the years I've worked hands-on with a wide range of prosumer and consumer equipment — from brands like Epson, LG, Onkyo, JBL, Pioneer, ART, and DIRAC to platforms like Windows, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation. I built my own home media server from the ground up, and that experience deepened my understanding of how everything connects — and how to make it all work seamlessly together.

I started Dillon Young Consulting because I kept seeing the same thing: people who just wanted to enjoy their TV, hear their music clearly, or video call their grandkids — but felt let down by technology that was never set up with them in mind. I show up on time, explain everything in plain English, and don't leave until you feel genuinely comfortable and confident.
